Communicating God’s Word Through Evangelism
It is every Christian’s responsibility to share the Gospel (Good News) wherever we go. We are to tell the whole world of Christ’s coming, His death on the cross, His resurrection, and His promise to return. Someday each of us will give an account to God regarding how seriously we took this responsibility.
But evangelism is more than our responsibility; it is our great privilege. In 2 Corinthians 5:19, the Bible says, “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.” We are, therefore, invited to be a part of bringing people into God’s eternal family. There is no greater privilege than helping a person discover, embrace, and fulfill God’s destiny for their life!
Missions Team
Team Verse
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Team purpose
To plan, promote, and oversee the following:
- Outreach events
- Seeker groups
- Evangelism training (including Class 401)
- Other evangelistic activities and programs
- Mission projects.
In summary, the team organizes whatever it takes to reach our community and world for Christ.
