The Dream – What do we envision?

By God’s Spirit our dream is to:

  1. Be a diverse body of people:
    1. Embracing intimacy with God

John 17:3; Matthew 27:37-38; Ephesians 1:17

    1. Experiencing Christ-like relationships

Ephesians 5:1-2; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 12:18

    1. Exercising our God-given gifts

(in the church and in the community)

Ephesians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 27

    1. Extending our grace stories

Ephesians 2:1-9 (NLT)

    1. Engaging our Circle of Influence

Matthew 28:18-20

1 Peter 2 9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God,
that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Acts 1 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

By God’s Spirit our dream is to:

  1. Partner in reaching every man, woman, and child in:
    1. Twinsburg (18,000 people) by repeatedly extending the opportunity to see, hear, and respond to the gospel, and be integrated into a local church that nurtures them in the life of faith, and the ministry and purpose of the church.
    1. The “Tri-County” area (150,000 people) by networking with other churches and para-church organizations, and helping plant new churches and/or campuses.
    1. The United States (308 million people) by supporting the District Advance, developing a multiplication/coaching center, and by directly resourcing missional movements within marginalized contexts.
    1. The world (6.8 billion people) by supporting the Great Commission Fund to support the work of C&MA missionaries worldwide and by strategically partnering with existing ministries in foreign countries.

According to UNICEF, 25,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”

“Every man, woman, and child…”
